The Prince Edward County School Board invites the community to the Prince Edward County High School auditorium Saturday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m. to recognize and dedicate the Barbara Rose John Auditorium, L. Francis Griffin Sr. Gymnasium and the James M. Anderson Jr. Conference Room. The ceremony will recognize the three individuals for the prominent roles they played in moving the county schools from its segregated past, student walk-out and five-year school closing. This event is free and open to the public.
