Pickleball

The Farmville Recreation Department will be holding Pickleball on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Fireman’s Sports Area in Farmville. The cost is $2 per player. For more information contact Chris Bolt at (434) 392-8465.

Tennis Community day

Longwood University Athletics will be holding Longwood Tennis Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Longwood tennis courts and include community play, kid’s play and a kid’s clinic. There will also be a men’s/women’s tennis alumni round-robin tournament. For more information, contact Bruce Myers at myersba2@longwood.edu.
