Gladys Berry Rothgeb, a longtime resident and homemaker of Gordonsville and Culpeper and Orange counties, passed on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her residence. Born August 18, 1927 in Prince Edward County, she was a daughter of the late Lee Broadus Berry and Mamie Jenkins Berry. She was the wife of forty years to the late John R. Rothgeb.

Mrs. Rothgeb is survived by her four children, John R. Rothgeb Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Carolyn R. Krams of Staten Island, NY, Robert M. Rothgeb of Mineral and Richard W. Rothgeb of Orange. She was a beloved grandmother of four and a loving great-grandmother of Hannah. Her family will miss her cooking and her sage advice.

A funeral services was held Monday, August 17 at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville with interment in Culpeper National Cemetery.
