The Prince Edward-Farmville Youth Association (PEFYA) Angels defeated Florida 2-0 this morning, as they represent Virginia in the Angels X-Play World Series tournament in Moore County, N.C.

PEFYA began tournament play on Saturday, when they fell 7-1 to Mississippi. They gained their first win in a World Series ever  thisorning with their victory over Florida.

PEFYA advances in the tournament, when they will play tonight at 6 p.m. Their opponent has yet to be determined.
