DILLWYN, Oct. 14 – Mildred Stanley Harris, 48, of Dillwyn, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at her home. She was born November 25, 1959 in Buckingham County, the daughter of the late Thomas Stanley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Eugene Gayle.

She is survived by her mother, Annie Marie Gayle Stanley of Dillwyn; her husband, William Lee Harris; sons, Joe Cunningham and George Cunningham, both of Wingina; a sister, Alice Marie Tuggle of Troy; brothers, Thomas Edward Stanley of Dillwyn and Robert Lee Stanley of Buckingham; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at Antioch Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
