DILLWYN, Dec. 1 – Beulah Jamerson Staton, 92, of Dillwyn, died Thursday, November 26, 2009. She was born in Buckingham County, the daughter of the late John Walter Jamerson and Carrie Sharpe Jamerson, and widow of Robert Benford Staton.

She is survived by two sons, R. Garland Staton of Dillwyn and John Benford Staton of New York; brother, Irvin Jamerson of Powhatan; five grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday at Bucking-ham Community Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Enon Baptist Church or the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
