CUMBERLAND, April 22 – Mary Frances Allen, 65, of Cumberland, departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Carlisle, PA.

She is survived by four daughters, Andrea Sakaya, Adraine Mayo (Todd, Sr.), Angela Lucas (Martin) and Ava Allen; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a goddaughter, Virginia Hatcher; brothers, General Lee (Catherine), John Lee (Vera), and Raymond Lee (Patricia); a sister, Marion Weems; aunt, Bernice Jackson; sisters-in-law, Lucy Brown, Frances Scruggs, Luerine Allen, Tessie Allen, and Regina Allen; brothers-in-law, Willie Allen, Robert Allen, Harrison Allen, James Scruggs, and Elmo Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her remains rest at Marion Gray Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Cumber-land, with the Rev. Howard C. Cooper Sr., pastor, officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.
