APRIL 3 – On Saturday, March 23, 2008, our beloved Herbert Philander Faulkner departed this earthly life to begin a better life with his Heavenly Father.

Herbert was born August 14, 1943 in Prince Edward County, the youngest of nine children of Mr. and Mrs. Glover C. and Helen Morton Faulkner.

Herbert accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

He received his education in the Public Schools of Prince Edward County. Herbert continued his education in new York and became an Air Conditioner and Refrigeration Specialist. He later moved to Ohio.

Herbert's memories will be cherished by his son, Jajwan Polite of Ohio; two sisters, 11 Mae Martin of Bronx, NY and Meredith Edmons of Rochdale, NY; a brother, Grover C. Faulkner of Keysville; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, and a special friend, Sheryl of Sharron, PA.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 29, at New Hope Baptist Church, Keysville, with interment in the church cemetery.
