FEBRUARY 5 – Mrs. Bertha Meadows Dickhoff, 75, of Farmville passed away Tuesday evening, February 3, 2009 in Farmville. She was born September 16, 1933 in Abilene, the daughter of the late John James and Lena Hester Meadows.

She is survived by her husband Henry Dickhoff; sons, George Dickhoff and wife, Lynn of Farmville and John Henry Dickhoff Jr. and wife, Christina of Longmont, Colorado; sister, Lena Denton and husband, Arthur of Colonial Heights, and six grandchildren, Tabitha, Kimberly Michelle, Kenneth Edward Atkins, Jr., Ashley Dickhoff, Henry William Dickhoff, and Tony Dickhoff.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with interment in Westview Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Puckett Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
