POWHATAN, Feb. 12 – Russell “Brent” Fulk, 53, of Powhatan, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Brisentine Fulk of Powhatan; daughter, Susan Stewart; grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, and Ashlyn Stewart all of Oklahoma City, OK; his parents, Russell and Vestella Fulk of Glouster; mother, Betty Gier of Harrisonburg; sister, Lynne Moore of Glouster; brothers, Lee Oliver of Glouster, and Danny Fulk of Richmond; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tyrone “Ty” Fulk and step-father, George Gier.

The family will receive friends Thursday (today) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, at Prospect United Methodist Church, Prospect, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

The Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is serving the family.
