DILLWYN, Aug. 13 – Mary Nancy “Ellen” Kidd Brown, 90, of Dillwyn, departed this life on August 11, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Brown Sr. and daughter, Mary Frances Booker.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Lizzie (Charlie) Jones, Nancy (Frank) Booker, Sue Anderson, and Hazel Wood of Dillwyn, Dorothy Andrews of Pennsylvania, Maretha Coleman and Margurite Johnson of Dillwyn; sons, Willie Kidd, Robert L. Jr., Michael, and Mark Brown of Dillwyn.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery.
