Marian C. Bailey, 88 Of Keysville Dies January 7

KEYSVILLE, Jan. 13 – Marian Clark Bailey, 88, of Keysville, entered eternal life with our Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2009.

She was a faithful member of Ash Camp Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a true prayer warrior. She inspired others by her Christian example, servant's heart, and sacrificial love for others.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Morris C. Bailey; son, Carl Bailey; brothers, Milton and Elvin Clark; and sister, Erselle Riggins.

She is survived by a sister, Alma Spencer; three daughters and their husbands, Harriet and Ronnie Doty, Lorraine and Larry Agee, and Beverly and Randy Duffer; grandchildren, Renee Doty Ward and husband, Tim, Rosalind Doty Fenton and husband, Steve, Lynn Agee Hurd and husband, Matt, Neil and Stephanie Agee, Mari Carl, Reed and Raleigh Duffer; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jillian Ward; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services were held Saturday, Jan. 10, in Ash Camp Baptist Church, with interment in Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests donations be made to Ash Camp Baptist Church (Capital Improvements), American Cancer Society, or Hospice of Virginia.

The Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, was in charge of arrangements
