WEST VIRGINIA, Jan. 6 – Lois D. Benshoff, 88, of Ronceverte, WV, died Friday, January 2, 2009 in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte. Mrs. Benshoff was a long time resident of Greenbrier County and a registered nurse, having worked at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for over a decade.

She is survived by a son, Artur Benshoff; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bobby Flack; daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Chris Merrill; six grandchildren, Anna, Benjamin, Laura, Mandy, Justin and Tristan; and one great-grandchild, Chasby.

Mrs. Benshoff was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.

Services will be held in Dillwyn at Rocky Mount Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on January 10.

The family requests donations be made to the local Humane Society.
