CUMBERLAND, June 16 – Patrick B. McKendry, 83, of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009.

He was born in Ballycastle, North Antrim, Ireland to Daniel and Margaret Connolly McKendry.

He is survived by his wife, Camille; children, Gerald and wife, Denise of Powhatan, Deirdre of Cumberland, and Commander Daniel McKendry, USN, and wife, Leila of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Logan Daniel McKendry, Ryan Patrick McKendry, and Sarah Catherine McKendry.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.

Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, Amelia, served the family.
