AMELIA, Aug. 2 – Angela W. Kidd, 47, of Amelia, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Amelia.

She is survived by three sons, David Watley and wife, Yavonne of Amelia, Raymond M. Kidd Jr. and Nick Kidd, both of Amelia; four sisters, Brenda Sue Crawford of Burkeville, Debbie Reams of South Boston, Betty Jo Glenn of Prospect, and Candice Morgan of Farmville; four brothers, Lewis Jackson Hammonds Jr. of Alderson, WV, Alfred Landon Hammonds of Prospect, Robert Earl Hammonds of Amelia, and Bobby Lee Hammonds of Prospect; grandson, Cobie Lee Watley of Amelia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Logan Watley and a brother, Oscar O. Hammonds.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, August 3, in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.
