POWHATAN, June 3 – Carol P. Gough, 65, of Powhatan, beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away unexpected Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Gough; daughter, LaDawn Lynn Maddox; sister, Diane P. Saunders; two brothers and their wives, Sonny and Katherine Palumbo and David and Marsha Palumbo; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. and Helen F. Palumbo; and a daughter, Michell L. Maddox.

Graveside services were held Friday in the Powhatan Community Cemetery.

Bennett and Barden Funeral Home, Powhatan, served the family.
