MIDLOTHIAN, July 22 – Lucille Marie Thornton, 69, of Midlothian, died Thursday, July 17, 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Thornton; a daughter, Denise Verlander and husband, Greg and their children, Aly and Katy, all of Powhatan; four sons, Richard Thornton and wife, Mary and their children, Alyx and Molly, all of Virginia Beach, Dr. James Thornton and wife, Mary and their children, Sean and Kelsey, all of Farmville; Paul Thornton and wife, Aly of Midlothian, and David Thornton of Midlothian; and a sister, Janet Fitzgerald of Midlothian.

Funeral services are private.
