BUCKINGHAM, April 24 – William Edward Agee Jr., 58, of Buckingham, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at his home. He was the son of the late William Edward “Buck” Agee Sr. and Elois Watson Woodard of Bentonville.

He is also survived by his wife, Peggy Childress Agee; two daughters, Brandon Marie Ripley and Lauren A. Bryant, both of Dillwyn; son, Raymond Mark Agee of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Kim Agee of Palmyra; brother, Thomas Gary Agee of Farmville; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday, April 21, in the Union Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
