At its Dec. 12 meeting, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors congratulated Deputy Mark Stephens for being selected as the County’s December Employee of the Month. Stephens is an almost nine-year employee of the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Department and is retired from the United States Coast Guard.
“I am very proud that Deputy Stephens was nominated for the Employee of the Month award by fellow employees in the Courthouse,” said Prince Edward Sheriff L.A. “Tony” Epps. “I think that speaks to the way he interacts with both his colleagues and with the public. Mark is an outstanding employee who treats everyone with courtesy and respect.”
To be considered for Employee of the Month, an employee must demonstrate at least one of the County’s core values: customer service, teamwork, innovation initiative, attitude displayed, and positive action.
