The members of Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 16 Horsepen Road in Farmville celebrated their 155th church anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 8.
During the service the following people were recognized:
• Deacon James Melvin Redd for his many years of service as a Trustee, Joint Board Chairman, and Deacon.
• Trustee Adell Sims for her 43 years of service as Treasurer and a Trustee.
• Sister Gloria Foster, age 90, was recognized as a member of the 90’s club ministry.
• Deacon Emeritus Robert B. Jackson, age 91, was recognized as a member of the 90’s club ministry.
• Deaconess Roxie B. Taylor, age 92, was recognized as a member of the 90’s club ministry.
