Before and during the Thanksgiving holiday, several groups from Buckingham and Prince Edward counties used the time to explore parts of the region. The Grateful Boomers from Curdsville was one of those groups. Over the last few weeks, they’ve walked on parts of the Appalachian Trail, covering the Doyle River Trail in Albemarle County and Cole Mountain in Amherst County.
