Corlean Jeter, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a Christian friend to all, passed Nov. 15, in Baltimore, Maryland, where she had lived for the last four years. 

Born in Meherrin in 1940, she moved to Baltimore at 10 years old, returning to Meherrin in 1992. She will be sorely missed, but her memory shall live forever. 

She is survived by four children; four grandchildren and a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Funeral services to take place at noon on Saturday, Nov. 25, at the New Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow.
