In 2013 Longwood students created a map of the United States at Prince Edward County Elementary School. Every two years it is refreshed to keep it bright and enticing to be used as a learning site for the children. The Longwood’s Womens’ Basketball team spent an afternoon this week giving the map a good makeover to help it look bright and exciting again. 

The young women made sure all of the states had names included, oceans were designated and U.S. borders visible. Dr. Vonnie Colvin (retired) coordinated the work and Aaron Barber also assisted.
