4-H Camp can be a life-changing experience for many youth. Campers learn and grow from the experience of spending time with friends in a unique camp setting. They develop new friendships, spend time away from home, and learn independence among many other life skills. They experience the joy of summer camp and the personal growth that comes with it.
Trained adult volunteers, extension agents and Holiday Lake 4-H Center staff members lead programs and provide additional supervision. Anyone interested in becoming an adult 4-H volunteer leader at camp should contact their 4-H extension agent.
4-H Camp is for youth turning 9 before Sep. 30, through age 14. Counselors in Training (CITs) must have turned 13 by Jan. 1. CITs register using this form, but also need to fill out an additional CIT application using this link: https://bit.ly/2022_4H_Teen-CIT
Youth ages 14-19 serve as teen leaders and play an important role working with your camper. Teen leaders must have turned 14 by Jan. 1, and complete required training before camp. Teen leaders may register and submit their application at this link: https://bit.ly/2022_4H_Teen-CIT
