Dylan T. Price is a member of the Buckingham County High School Class of 2020. The Buckingham FFA Senior Chapter would like to recognize Dylan T. Price for his success in his FFA career. Dylan served as the 2019-2020 second vice-president.
He became a member in August 2014 and has been active throughout his FFA career. He participated in the Small Animal Care and Veterinary Science contests at the area and state level levels. In June 2016, Dylan was the high individual for the State Small Animal Care Contest.
Dylan also participated in many fundraisers, FFA Night at Funquest, and volunteered at the Souper Bowl Canned Food Drives. Dylan attended the 2017 National FFA Convention; 2015, 2017 and 2019 C.O.L.T. Conference; and Virginia FFA Leadership Camp in 2017 and 2019. Dylan said his favorite FFA memory was attending the FFA Leadership Camps at Graves Mountain Lodge. When asked how to describe FFA he said, “FFA to me is about teaching the youth and generations to come about the importance of the agriculture industry and leadership skills through hands-on experiences. FFA is so much more than solely farming.”
Dylan has applied for his State FFA Degree, which he plans to receive later this year. Dylan plans to run as a candidate for the 2020-2021 Virginia FFA State Officer team and attend Virginia Tech in the fall majoring in psychology.
Dylan is the son of Tommy and Amy Price and brother to Skylar Price.
The Buckingham FFA Senior Chapter would like to congratulate Dylan on his success and wish him luck in his future endeavors.
