(In response to James Peca’s letter in the Friday. March 6 edition of The Herald)

People in MAGA hats do not attend Democrat rallies wearing masks and carrying bats. We do not riot on campus when liberals speak. Your side is the party of violence. Chuck Schumer just threatened two Supreme Court Justices. You attack the executive branch and now the judiciary in your transparent effort to concentrate power.

You have ruined our cities, destroyed black families, allowed drugs and violence to run rampant. The Dems have a tradition of lying and using minorities for their vote and changes. Since the 1960s, the government has morphed into the “morality” police. Are we a theocracy or a secular republic?

We are not detaining political adversaries or undesirables.  We are detaining people here “illegally” only until a disposition can be made. When large numbers are detained, people will be sick. They lack nutrition and have had little or no medical care. Some will die of natural causes. They are not dying from “abuse” or “cruelty.” If only your party would work on serious Immigration reform, we could stop this mess. Bill Clinton authorized mandatory detention, and Obama was the king of deportation.

I would not brag too much about your freshman congresspersons, considering the likes of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Presley. They hate America, and they hate Americans who do not fit their “identity” political views. You try to scare us with ridiculous statistics like 226% increase in hate crimes where Trump held rallies in 2016. The study you cite has been refuted by researchers at Harvard.

Now you present the electorate with one of two candidates, the Pawn of the Democrat Elites and the Communist. This is the best you have come up with since the last election. Include the “Squad,” and you are batting 1,000.
