WRITTEN IN THE TREES HIKE

Twin Lakes State Park will host the Written in the Trees Hike Saturday, Feb. 15, 10-11 a.m. On this low-difficulty hike on Otter’s Path Trail, participants will discover what kinds of stories nature has to tell and how we as humans can leave a negative mark on our environment with the simplest of actions.

REMEMBERING PRINCE EDWARD STATE PARK – CEDAR CREST TOUR

During the Civil Rights era, Prince Edward State Park served as a safe recreational haven for those facing racial discrimination. During the Cedar Crest Tour, guests at Twin Lakes State Park will discover the history of the park, focusing on the historic building now known as the Cedar Crest Conference Center.

This tour will take place Saturday, Feb. 22, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
