Lilly Pearl Call Norman, 87, of Farmville, Virginia passed away peacefully and gracefully on Friday, February 14, 2020, surrounded by her daughters and family. She was a devoted wife, preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Marshall Jackson “Jack” Norman. They resided on their tobacco farm in Cumberland County, Virginia.
She was a proud and loving mother to three daughters, Jackie Glascock (Steve), Sandra Raymond (Rick), and Barbara Moore (Chuck). She was known as Gram to seven grandchildren, Christopher Thompson, Tara Carter, Skipper Martin, Blake Martin, Abby Gates, Caroline Moore and Katie Raymond and six great grandchildren, Colton Carter, Lilly Grace Carter, Kipp Martin, Tripp Martin, Gracie Martin and Jackson Martin.
She most enjoyed spending time with her daughters and family. She was a member of Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church in Cumberland, Virginia, attended Farmville Baptist Church, member of the Powhatan Chapter #146 Eastern Star, and the Cumberland Red Hatters. She loved the Lord and served him daily. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was employed by Cumberland County Public Schools for 28 years, where she was loved by the faculty and students. While there, she made many long lasting friendships and touched the hearts of many.
The family received friends on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, with interment at Grove Cemetery, Old Buckingham Road, Cumberland.
