After a two-day jury trial Dec. 2-3, a jury in Prince Edward County recommended a 32-year sentence and a $4,000 fine in the matter of Commonwealth (CW) v. Myron Shoemaker, according to a press release from Prince Edward County Commonwealth’s Attorney Megan L. Clark.

Shoemaker, now 49 years old, was found guilty of committing two counts of sodomy and four counts of aggravated sexual battery between 2002 and 2005 against a victim under the age of 13, the release noted.
