Families gathered Saturday, Dec. 14, at Centra Southside Community Hospital (CSCH) in Farmville to have their pictures taken with Santa Claus. The big man himself arrived at the hospital at 10 a.m. and spent the afternoon meeting area children and making spirits bright.

The festivities included a beautiful Christmas tree covered in purple, blue and silver decorations, surrounded by an array of beautiful poinsettias. After taking a photo with Santa, children and their families were treated with refreshments including freshly-popped popcorn, candy canes and hot chocolate topped with mounds of marshmallows.
