William “Kyle” Bryan, right, was awarded the Honorary American Degree at the 92nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on Nov. 1. Bryan is the current Buckingham County Career and Technical Director, a position he has held for the past 10 years. Before transitioning to administration, Bryan worked as an Agricultural Education Instructor and FFA Advisor in Buckingham for 25 years. Bryan has supported the FFA not only in his professional career, but also serving as a Buckingham Farm Bureau Executive Board Member. According to the National FFA Organization, “this award is given to those who advance agricultural education and FFA through outstanding personal commitment.” Bryan receives is Honorary American Degree from Luke O’Leary, left, National FFA President.
