Buckingham 55, Randolph-Henry 12 — Final

Buckingham County High School’s varsity football team produced a victorious homecoming performance that downed visiting Randolph-Henry High School 55-12 on Friday, Oct. 18, giving the Knights their fifth win in a row and improving their overall record to 6-1. They led 55-6 at halftime and allowed younger players a chance to compete.

Central Lunenburg 56, Prince Edward 44 — Final

Prince Edward County High School’s varsity football team trailed 28-6 at halftime against host Central Lunenburg High School, and then the Eagles’ offense sprung to life in a big way in the second half, getting touchdowns from sophomore Nate Reed and junior Kiyou Jones, but the Chargers were able to stay a couple steps ahead and hold on for a 56-44 homecoming victory.
