Robert Walker Wright, 78, of Dillwyn died August 17, 2019. He was born January 2, 1941 in Buckingham County, a son of the late Henry Wise and Emma Wootton Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Ballowe Wright; children, Michelle Wright and Mark Wright and wife, Susan; grandchildren Blair, Rachel and Jose; step-children Jack Bryant and Lisa Holmes and husband, Paul; step-grandchildren, Jonathan and wife, Cindy, Jarrett, Jason and wife Allison, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Logan, Trent and Alexis; brother, Henry Wright; brother-in-law Bill Falls; mother-in-law, Louise Ballowe; sister-in-law, Mary and husband, Charles; brother-in-law, Wayne; mother of his children, Dale Wright and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lee Wright Falls and brother, Jim Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Enon Baptist Church cemetery. The family received friends on Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buckingham Volunteer Fire Department, Dillwyn Unit.
