Mr. Louis Washington Bell of Meherrin, VA, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Lynchburg, VA.

A former teacher of Prince Edward County Schools and an active member of Piedmont Church of Christ in Farmville, VA, he was an alumni of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

A memorial service will be held at Piedmont Church of Christ on Saturday, August 10, 11 a.m. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home.
