JROTC wins Rubik’s Cube competition

The JROTC department attended the Rubik’s Cube Competition at Cumberland recently. The team won first place in both the 3 x 3 category and 2 x 2 category, solving the 25 Rubik’s Cubes as a team in under 10 minutes. For the solo competition, Jacob Mack won first place with a time of 17 seconds to solve the 2 x 2 cube with Daquan Tindall placing second. Jacob also won first place with a time of 44 seconds to solve the 3 x 3 cube with Daquan Tindall placing second and Josh Meek placing third. The team consisted of Jacob Mack, Daquan Tindall, Josh Meek, Ian Martin, Tyler Moree, Bryan Hatcher, Jerrod Lewis, Jaedyn Randolph, Jon Gowans and Minnie Wallace.
