High Bridge Trail State Park will host the Margaret Watson Bird Club Saturday, April 27, for a morning birding adventure. Participants will assist in an informal bird survey along the Rochelle Tract, 1.6 miles east of Farmville along High Bridge Trail.

Following the bird survey, a cleanup will be held on the site, concentrating on the old stone culvert area of Bad Luck Branch Creek. This program will require participants to walk about 2 miles of varied terrain.

The park will provide transportation to and from the event location. Participants should meet at the Charley’s Waterfront Café parking lot in Farmville, where they will depart at 8:15 a.m. and return at 11:45 a.m.
