Women 2 Women will host two informational sessions for women interested in learning about running for political office. Make it Happen: Women as Leaders is a nonpartisan event that will feature a panel of local women who have firsthand experience running for office. Featured speakers include Megan Clark, Prince Edward County Commonwealth Attorney; Sherry Honeycutt, Town of Farmville Planning Commission; Odessa Pride, Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors; Patti Cooper Jones, Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors; and Teresa Sandlin, Prince Edward Planning Commission. Dr. Pam Tracy will moderate the panel.

The event will be held at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m., and again on Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at Longwood University in Grainger 101. Refreshments will be provided.
