Ruth Adam of Garden Club met on Feb. 27 at the home of Christine Bianco with Judy Jamieson as co-hostess. The program was given by Jay Wilkerson, Horticulturist for the town of Farmville. He presented an overview of his first year – Keeping Farmville Beautiful. Blue Ribbons for flower designs were Nan Colvin, Brenda Hawkins and Lois Gager. Red Ribbons went to Betty McBride and Judy Jamieson. Horticulture: Blue – Rebecca Maxwell and Betty Sumner; Red – Judy Jamieson and Betty McBride.
