Prince Edward County Courthouse will open at a delay at 10 a.m.

Cumberland County offices will open at a 2 hour delay Wednesday.

Prince Edward County Public Schools and Buckingham Public Schools  announced they will be closed Wednesday due to the anticipated storm.

Cumberland County Schools announced a 2 hour delay. According to their Facebook page officials will re-evaluate this decision in the morning. According to the  post officials stated, “This allows us to see the impacts of weather over night, check road conditions, and review the weather forecast for the remainder of the day.”

Longwood University will be opening at noon Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Piedmont Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging’s Friendship Cafes in Prince Edward and Nottoway will be closed Wednesday due to inclement weather.
