Collision sends one to hospital

A two-vehicle accident in Prince Edward Tuesday afternoon resulted in one person being transported to the hospital.

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection Campbell Crossing Road and Levi Road in Prince Edward County resulted in one person transported to the hospital for minor injuries, representatives of Meherrin Fire & Rescue said Tuesday afternoon.
Meherrin Fire & Rescue Chief Trey Pyle said the head-on collision occurred at the intersection shortly before 5 p.m. The driver of the other vehicle declined care or transport, Pyle said.
