One taken to hospital after accident

The driver of a Chevy Tahoe that reportedly rear-ended a tractor trailer was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening, according to a report from a Virginia State Police (VSP) trooper.
VSP, Farmville Fire Department, Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office and Prince Edward County Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to the incident, which took place at the intersection of Farmville Road and Dominion Drive.
VSP Trooper Reichard said the driver of the tractor trailer was preparing to drive forward after the traffic light had turned green when the driver of the Chevy Tahoe rear-ended the tractor trailer.
Reichard said he did not know the extent of the driver of the Tahoe’s injuries.
