In October, four students in the Buckingham CTE welding class traveled to the Virginia State Fair to compete in the SkillsUSA Day Welding Competition against other technical centers from around the Commonwealth. Along with networking with other welding students from the Commonwealth, the Buckingham students were able to meet with representatives from the welding industry while putting their welding skills and knowledge to practical use.
