The second annual Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity Pig Roast drew a crowd Saturday evening to the Farmville Community Marketplace on North Street for good food, music and fellowship. Farmville Area Habitat’s community outreach director, Sam Rabon, said around 70 people attended the roast, which has become the organization’s signature annual event as a fundraiser. The crowd included people showing their support for the organization, mingling with the area group’s board and staff and Habitat homeowners.
