Panther Prep Advising Day, a semiannual event sponsored by Southside Virginia Community College, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The event offers students and prospective college students a chance to sign up for spring classes, meet with advisors and other college staff, learn about offerings at the college and relax with food and entertainment.

Panther Prep Day will be held on the Christanna Campus in Alberta, John H. Daniel Campus in Keysville, Southern Virginia Higher Education Center in South Boston, Southside Virginia Education Center in Emporia, The Estes Community Center in Chase City and Lake Country Advanced Knowledge Center in South Hill.
