A restaurant with gourmet burgers, craft beer and a stage for live music is set to rock the intersection of Third and Main streets in the fall.

The Brew House, which has a location in Blackstone, announced a new location at 201 N. Main St. June 30.

Lisa Johnson, owner of The Brew House with Josh Johnson, said the restaurant will serve gourmet burgers, steak and seafood and will have more than 100 craft and domestic beers to choose from.

“We normally refer to it as an American-style gastropub,” Johnson said.

A gastropub is a pub that serves high-end cuisine in addition to craft beers. The restaurant itself will also have a stage. Johnson said she expects to have two nights a week set aside for live music and one night for karaoke. She estimates the restaurant will open in November.

The restaurant will be located on the main floor of the building and the restaurant space is expected to total 2,200 square feet. Out of the locations Johnson looked at, she said Farmville ended up being the best bet. “We’ve been looking for a second place to expand, and Farmville was just perfect,” Johnson said.

The Brew House joins several restaurants that recently opened on Main Street, including one19 – Tastefully Off-Center and Perini Pizza.
