Libby Blanton, treasurer of the Friends of the Barbara Rose Johns Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library, presented a check for $250 for the FACES Food Pantry to Larry Clements, AVP Branch Manager of the Virginia Credit Union. The Friends are of service to the community primarily through their support of the public library, but they took advantage of the credit union’s matching grant program to turn their donation into $500 for FACES flood recovery efforts.
