U.S. Cellular has named Matthew Surface sales manager for the Farmville store at 1425 S. Main Street. Matthew comes to Farmville from the Valley View store in Roanoke.

“I am excited to have Matthew join the Farmville team and take the next step in his U.S. Cellular career, and I’m confident that his leadership skills will guide our local team to help customers in the area with their technology needs,” said Bertram Daniels, area sales manager.

Surface studied at Lynchburg College for four years with concentrations in Biology and English. He is a native of New Castle, where he lived until attending college in Lynchburg. Surface enjoys hiking, kayaking, swimming, and biking in his spare time.
