Hallie Cook Morris of Buckingham County graduated Valedictorian from Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg May 26. During high school Morris was involved in honors and college classes, Beta Club, and served as the public relations officer for the National Honor Society.

 

Morris has volunteered with Buckingham County 4-H as a teen leader and class instructor and also with the Farmville Recreation Department. She attended Girl’s State, the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine, participated in horseback riding, served as an assistant ballet teacher and was active in ballet/pointe classes and a variety of other interests.

She will be attending Liberty University in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Biology. Morris is the daughter of Michael and Cindy Morris.
