Because the Advent and Lenten Luncheons have become so popular at Payne Memorial United Methodist Church, the church is beginning a monthly fellowship on the second Wednesday of each month. The first fellowship with lunch provided will be Wednesday, May 9, from noon – 1 p.m. The theme for the remainder of 2018 will be “Choosing Life.” The first speaker will be the Rev. Woody Wood who will speak on the topic of “The New Way of the Spirit.” The scripture lesson is from Romans 7:4-6. The church is located at 1 Stoney Point Road in Cumberland (across from the Court House). All are welcome.
