Buckingham JROTC wins state title

The JROTC Raider Team won a State Title for Virginia and won a slot for the national level Raider competition to be held near Atlanta, Georgia this November. The Raider meet was sponsored by 4th Brigade JROTC, based out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Eighteen Raider Teams competed from Virginia, West Virginia and North and South Carolina. They were runner-ups for Best of the Best Raider with trophies awarded for placing second in rope bridge, second in logistics relay and third in litter carry. Ian Martin would win the title for best Male Athlete for Best of the Best Raider.
